Had a customer send this job over and they were ok sharing it with you guys, so here's quick video machining large aluminum bracket. Happy new year folks. Using alibre cad, sprutcam and tormach pcnc 1100 to mill handle from 6061 aluminum.
I'm using a 2flute, 1/4" hss end mill at 4,000 rpm and 30 ipm on. Testing how hard, fast and deep the tormach pcnc 1100 can cut aluminum using a maritool 1/2" 3 flute carbide roughing end mill. Caption says it all, folks.
For now, unpacking and a solid first cut performance. Operations include spot drilling, tappin. Super excited to put this machine the test.
